Built at the time of the Holy Roman Empire, in the city of Altamura you will discover a picturesque and fascinating old town which you can enter through the ancient gate that at one time was the entrance to the fortress.

So many things to see concerning art and architecture, beginning with the San Biagio church, followed by the church of San Nicola dei Greci and then reaching the Cathedral built by Frederick II.
