The highlight of your once-in-a-lifetime winter adventure is staying overnight in one of the few rooms of this ice masterpiece, meaning you are sharing this 600 m² ice hotel with only a limited amount of other guests. Celebrate a special occasion with your loved one in a setting of your dreams. A guide will be at your disposal from the moment you arrive at Tromso Ice Domes until you depart the following morning. You can enjoy a drink at the ice bar while admiring the stunning ice sculptures of the Arctic wildlife. The double beds in the ice rooms are surrounded by an ice frame. You will sleep in expedition sleeping bags on a comfortable mattress covered by reindeer skins.

In the evening your guide will take you on an adventure in the surrounding area of Tromso Ice Domes. A nice walk on snowshoes takes you further away from civilization and closer to the true Scandinavian nature. Away from the city, in the darkness of the valley, you will have a much better chance to spot the northern lights. And when spotted, you can get help taking pictures as mesmerizing souvenirs to take home. Whilst searching for animal tracks you will hear about the very nature you’re passing through. Our destination is the nature camp where the guide shows how to make a fire and you may help to grill dinner.

The ice bars, our ice cinema, the ice bedrooms and the ice restaurant have themes ranging from local Sami culture to the northern lights conveyed through beautiful colored lighting and wonderful ice sculptures. Your guide will show you around and will share their knowledge about the construction process of an ice hotel and guide about the impact the snow has for the survival of our arctic animals.

After waking up in this winter wonderland with the entire ice hotel at your disposal, your guide will serve you a traditional Norwegian breakfast before you will be driven back to Tromsø’s city center.
