This bus tour visits famous spots for cherry blossoms on the outskirts of Mt. Fuji that can be tricky to visit alone. Located 2 hours away from Tokyo, there are several famous spots for cherry blossoms in the Mt. Fuji area. During this time of year, you can enjoy the sight of cherry blossoms and Mt. Fuji covered in snow. Yamanashi Prefecture is famous for being a ‘Fruit Kingdom.’ Take part in an all-you-can-eat strawberry picking of deliciously sweet strawberries. This is our only tour that visits Arakurayama Sengen Park, the renowned photogenic spot where Mt. Fuji and a five-story pagoda can be seen simultaneously.

Jinroku Sakura Park (40 min)
The tour will visit Jinroku Sakura Park, with roughly 600 cherry blossom trees that color the spring of the Katsunuma-budokyo area, and Ohikage Tunnel, a railway legacy.

The blooming conditions of flowers noted in the itinerary depend on the type of flower, weather conditions, etc., and the peak viewing period may vary for each. The tour will still be held if flowers are in bloom at only some tour itinerary location(s), or if alternative locations can be visited. If the cherry blossoms are not blooming, the tour may visit an area with a paradise of peach blossoms.

Hina doll decorations at Kanzo Yashiki (30 min)
With an elegant presence that draws the eye, Kanzo Yashiki serves as a model for folk houses in the Koshu area of Yamanashi Prefecture. From February to April every year, it serves as the main venue of hina doll decorations, and is gorgeously decorated with hanging hina dolls and tiered hina doll stands. This location is designated as an important cultural property of Japan.

Erin-ji Temple (30 min)
This is the family temple for Shingen Takeda, a military commander during the Sengoku period. Enjoy some of the earliest blooming cherry blossoms in the Koshu region.

Reminders for Strawberry-picking:
Infants age 3-5 require an admission fee for the strawberry farm. Please pay on your own, in cash upon admission to the farm. (And, even if a child is 3-5 years old, if their booking was made under the child rate, the admission fee is not required.) The strawberry farm admission fee for infants ages 0-2 is free.
Large bags are not allowed in the fruit picking area. All-you-can-eat applies only to the fruit picking location. Fruit cannot be taken home with you so please consume it during the allotted time.
If fruits are not ripe for picking due to weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled. Depending on the weather, the group may only have the all-you-can-eat fruits activity instead.

3:30pm - 4:10pm
Arakurayama Sengen Park (40 min)
Visit the renowned photogenic spot where Mt. Fuji and a five-story pagoda can be seen simultaneously.

Arakurayama Sengen Park
- Get off the bus near Shimoyoshida Station, and walk for about 10 minutes to the entrance of Arakurayama Sengen Park.
- From the park entrance, climb the 397 steps to the five-story pagoda. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the peak.
- Those that have trouble walking can view Mt. Fuji from the park entrance, but will not be able to see the scene of Mt. Fuji and the five-story pagoda together.
- Please wear clothes that are easy to move around in and shoes that are easy to walk in.

Children age 5 and younger will not be assigned a bus seat and must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. If a seat on the bus is required for the child, please make a booking at the child rate (6-11 years old).
If any of the following circumstances should occur by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled: If the flowers cannot be viewed due to blooming conditions.
