You’ll board the cogwheel train in Lautebrunnen. En route you’ll have stunning views of the world-famous triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau for breathtaking panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, neighboring countries and the Aletsch Glacier. Walk through the tunnels of the Ice Palace at the heart of the glacier.

Restaurants are available for meals and refreshments. The ambient temperature drops with increasing altitude. Therefore, be sure to wear warm clothes for trips over 1500 metres, even in during the heat of summer.

The intense radiation at high altitude requires sufficient sun protection for the skin and eyes. There is great risk of snow blindness on the glacier without sunglasses!

Nicotine and alcohol in excess before or during the trip can ruin your day.
