During the tour with the bus, you will have a spectacular view over Trapani, the salt mine near Marsala and if the sky is clear (without clouds) you can see the Aegadian islands (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo). The small island of Mothia is situated near the coast in the neighbourhood of Marsala near the salt mines that you can see from the mountain.

In the past, they traded wool in the old Fenician settlement. Afterwards, the island was bought by the son of an English wine merchant. From that time on, it was rediscovered and archeological findings are to be seen inside a small museum on the island.
