Uluru Sunrise and Segway Tour

Uluru Sunrise and Segway Tour

Your five-hour tour begins with a complimentary pickup and transfer from your hotel or the campground at Ayers Rock Resort.

Be sure to check when sunrise occurs as the start time for this tour varies throughout the year to take in the best possible sunrise viewing. After a short drive to our sunrise viewing area at Uluru you'll enjoy a magical sunrise with a light breakfast. Once the sun is up, it's time to get rolling.

After sunrise viewing you’ll arrive at the Segway base area, where your tour guide will provide you with Segway training. Once you’ve had some time to practice on our Segway training course and are feeling comfortable you’ll begin your Segway around Uluru. Cruise effortlessly on your Segway with your knowledgeable guide around the full base of Uluru. This typically takes around 2 hours, as you will stop for photos and interpretive talks about local Anangu culture, flora, fauna, geology and history of the area.

After Segway-ing the base you'll be led by your guide into the iconic Mutitjulu Waterhole to explore the sights and sounds of the waterhole and view ancient Aboriginal rock art. This short walk usually takes about 30 minutes.

Upon return back to the Segway base you'll enjoy worry - free transfers by bus back to your hotel within Ayers Rock Resort.
